1,000 in Community Receive Health Care Resources Aid

FALLBROOK – Since July Health care Resources has provided FREE informational and referral services to 1,000 residents of the community, the latest being transportation from Tri-City Hospital for a patient who needed help.
According to Sharion Hreha, a Fallbrook resident who is a member of the Retired Nurses Program at Christ the King Lutheran Church called for assistance for a friend who was scheduled to come home from the Vista hospital but was without a care or other means of transportation.
Health Care Resources assisted Ruth Redmann, Martha Choi and Mary Riedberger find referrals to get the woman home and then make home-care arrangements for her.
This was an example of the service provided by HCR, offering dignity, security and budget assistance to those in need.
Health Care Resources has a thousand stories to tell, each unique and filled with demands and problems which have been solved in the last six months. The organization's services are funded by the Fallbrook Healthcare Foundation. Fallbrook Healthcare District granted $26,000 this year to help improve HCR services.
