Volunteer Program Developed For Health Care Resources

Fallbrook – Ruse Hatfield and Ted Kubitz of Senior Net, Linda Buss of Fallbrook Refuse and Ed Haver a community resident are four of the first volunteers to sign up for service at Health Care Resources.
The newly-developed volunteer program offers free information and referral service with a volunteer connection for those in the community who need assistance.
Funded by Fallbrook Healthcare Foundation and a grant from the Fallbrook Healthcare District, HCR provides opportunity and volunteer buttons to give volunteers opportunities to choose areas best fitted for their talents.
Goal of the program, according to Sharion Hreha, manager, is to provide an additional filtering system that links community volunteers to professionals, organizations and individuals looking for help.
To volunteer, residents are invited to call Hreha at 723-7570 or visit the Health Care Resources office at 135 S. Mission Ave. , Fallbrook. LET US DO THE SEARCHING FOR YOU!
