Retired & Senior Volunteer Program  (RSVP)
Volunteers work at 315 sites in actitivies ranging from tutoring, mentoring, hospital work, library work, museum work, and, of course, law enforcement.  On of the most visible RSVP positions, sheriff and police volunteers, comprise about 35% of total program.  The County maintains a database to match interested volunteers with community needs.  Volunteers are also eligible for supplemental insurance.  Agencies of volunteers seeking a match call 858-505-6399
